Some regions of the state did not have strong enough drivers to motivate the folks up north to venture south for a visit. We did some research and discovered that there were a lot of odd attractions around the state of Illinois that could be motivating to the younger residents of Chicago. We commissioned a series of vintage travel posters highlighting some of these regional attractions. The posters were displayed  in bus shelters and on the sides of buildings all over Chicago. We also printed  24X36 inch posters for each region in Illinois to display locally.  Not only did it generate a lot of buzz in the press, but it also won domestic and international creative awards. JCDecaux, our outdoor vendor, loved the series so much they asked if they could leave them in place at any location that wasn't reserved when our flight was over - of course we said yes.
